FAQs

What's the age limit?
You must be between 7 – 16 years old to join us! No experience is needed!

What are the hours?
Each day runs from 8:00am-2:30pm on Monday through Friday. Parents can drop off their kids each morning at 8:00am, and pick them up at 2:30pm.

Should my kids bring a snack and/or lunch?
Yes, all campers should bring a snack and lunch every day! Plus LOTS of WATER!!! We have a scheduled time for a snack break mid-morning and lunch in the afternoon. Please let us know if your child has any dietary restrictions or allergies that we should be aware of.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

Camp will be held rain or shine.  We will have access to a large event tent in the event of bad weather.  Although the trapeze rig is in full sun, campers will have access to shade while waiting their turns as well as during other non aerial activities.  Our new location has a nice shady area under the trees with picnic tables for games and other "rest" activities.

Should my child bring Sunscreen?

Yes!  Please pack sunscreen for your child each day.  Campers will be encourage to reapply during activity breaks.

What should my kids wear?
We suggest that all participants wear something comfortable and that they can run/fly/jump around in. All participants should wear socks or bring a pair for each day and closed toe shoes are REQUIRED for Adventure days.

What forms do I need to bring?
ALL PARTICIPANTS are required to provide a copy of a physical (dated within 3 years) and immunization record or a signed religious exemption form. Without this, CT law prohibits your child from participating in group activities. Depending on the needs of your child, you may need to bring some or all of the forms below: (if you have any questions about what forms you may need, please give us a call or email.)

Can my child sign up for multiple days/weeks?
YES! Your child can participate in as many days as they would like. You will receive a discount on multiple days after 10. We also offer a discount for siblings - just select the ticket option that applies to your specific situation when registering your child! When attending multiple days and programs, your child will focus on different activities, so no 2 weeks are completely alike!

What is the ratio of staff to participants?
We have an awesome ratio of counselors to participants! The ratio is at least 1:7, but usually better for most weeks.

How safe is this program?
Safety is the #1 priority at Fearless Flyers Academy and Fields of Fire Adventure Park. Participants are always spotted by our fully trained staff in every single activity. The staff at both business go through rigorous training & background checks. Every participant wears safety-harnesses and helmets during the appropriate activities, including flying trapeze and the zip lines. In addition, we have a very large and super soft safety net that is always in use for the Flying Trapeze Rest assured, we have a 100% safety record!

What is the facility like?
We are located at Fields of Fire adventure park. We will meet each day in at their activities Tent and will have full use of it for the duration of the day programs (incase of inclimate weather). The campus is 50 acres and we will be using the flying trapeze area as well as the aerial ropes course area.

How are the kids split up? Will my child have fun?
We do our best to split the kids up into groups by their age levels and/or experience levels. There will be some activities that all will participate in together!

What are your philosophies and goals?
Our main goal is to provide your child with an atmosphere that is safe, fun, engaging, and structured. All of our kids have a blast! Activities are designed to develop friendships, teamwork, and creativity. We work with every child personally and at their own comfortable rate. Our philosophy is to celebrate everyone’s willingness to try and learn, rather than their skills and performance.
